Some Sweet Violent Urge [OPEN] 15
All the pretty people died,
innocence is out of style.
All the whores have gone away,
now's there's nothing left for me.

Shadows spilled over the broken edge of what had once been one of the most recognizable skylines in the world. New York had been known of a city of light, no matter what time of night there was always some light, keeping the dark shadows at bay. But now, no light shone down on the desecrated streets, save for the stray fires that still burned, almost as if humans were trying to uphold New York’s reputation, if even for a little bit. If there was one place in the city that Angel, Demon and human alike could identify as being the most foreign and strange without it’s once constant light, was the now broken Times Square. Even in the absence of the light of countless glittering billboards with advertisements for movies, musicals and consumer friendly models smiling down at the potential buyer from their celestial perch, smug in knowing that the blinding lights would lead them straight into the mouth of the stores like the stray humans now encircled the few burning fires for the warmth, there was some activity. Although compared to the stampede of human life the wide avenues of Time Square were used to, this was more like a trickle of ants. But there was one soul amongst the cold and frightened humans that appreciated the lack of humanity tainting the streets…

Perched on the debris of what had been the most famous billboard in Time Square, Gabriel sat, peering down at the scattered dots of orange through the blackened streets through sunglasses the humans below him would have killed for before this apocalypse. He wondered if any of them knew that he was here, watching them carry out their pathetic excuse of a life, waiting for their turn to die. If the rubble he was sitting on magically fixed itself and the city around him followed suit and the angel stood underneath the flashing lights he would be hard not to notice. He reached down at his feet and picked up a piece of mortar, or brick he couldn’t tell which and didn’t really give a damn. Rolling the rough rock in his hands, the angel found himself lost in thoughts back to a time when he wasn’t so lost…When he wasn’t wandering around like one of them, lost and confused. When he had first detached himself from Metetron’s army he thought it would be more of a help than a hindrance, that he would be able to find his way even without his Father’s voice, but instead here he was, slowly becoming something he despised.

But someone had noticed the rogue angel, and as Gabriel sat in his own contemplation the figure slinked up the small mountain like a shadow. With the slightest of movements, one that the approaching figure didn’t notice, Gabriel turned his head to the side just enough to see out of the side of his sunglasses, his ice blue gaze piercing through the darkness to land on the steadily approaching figure. The slightest of smiles found it’s way on the angel’s chiseled face, he was wondering how long it would take the vultures of this world to find someone alone and apparently unarmed dressed in pristine clothing. Even if this figure was going to try and rob him, as so many had ever since he started wandering the city, Gabriel was happy to be doing something other than stewing in his own thoughts, this was his form of entertainment now. When the figure slowed to try and keep quiet, Gabriel knew it was time to let this predator know that there was always a bigger fish waiting to devour any in it’s way. In one sudden and graceful movement, Gabriel stood, sending dust and several other loose pieces of rubble skittering down the heap. In this world of ruin, the angel looked as if he fell out of one of the billboards that had once surrounded the square, the designer sunglasses, popped collar on the long black wool trench coat, black button-up dress shirt, a black tie with a single red stripe down the middle of it, black jeans and the casual sneakers made him look like he was an extremely stupid human, or something that didn’t need to dress for survival. From the laugh he could hear behind him, Gabriel knew that the would be robber was more stupid than he had hoped. “What do you think you are? A Calvin Klein underwear model?”

Gabriel didn’t answer, he just turned to face the other man on the pile, slipping both hands behind his back and hiding the fact that he had a rock in his hands. When he did so, the man let out another laugh, pulling a small hand gun from his pocket, “Just look at that baby face, you must be one lucky son of a bitch, how else could you survive this long?” Whenever the man smiled or sneered at Gabriel, the angel got a better look at the ugly face of a human tainted fully by sin. They were so easily tainted that it almost made the angel sick with disgust, instead he kept his face neutral waiting for the moment to reveal just how much of a mistake this man had made. The man’s sneer suddenly fell, outwardly disappointed that his prey wasn’t cowering in fear and giving him whatever he wanted. The mangy pick pocket cocked the gun and closed the distance in a series of stumbles that left Gabriel snickering, and in a fit of anger the man gave a battle roar and raised the gun in the air, striking it across the angel’s face. Gabriel fell to his knees, resting against a piece of what had to be a billboard, the man laughed, grinning with the satisfaction that only predators can feel. “How’s that for you, you smirking freak?”

“You broke my sunglasses…”

For a few seconds after Gabriel spoke, the man’s smile spread into a sadistic grin, but than it sank in what his prey had said, in which case he could only snarl, “What?” Gabriel sighed taking the battered and broken glasses off his face, he stared at the broken plastic and glass for a few more seconds before tossing them to the ground. His head was still throbbing with the pain of being pistol whipped, but he knew the pain would subside soon enough, and wringing this sinner’s throat would definitely help that pain. Slowly he sat up, running a hand through his short, now dark brown hair to get any stray pieces of plastic out, “You heard me. Or maybe you didn’t your so used to the sound of agony.” The man started to back up, his eyes widening as he began to realize just how much trouble he was in, and when the angel stood and locked those ice blue eyes burning with disgust on the man it was the predator that was filled with fear.

As the man turned to run, Gabriel smiled, his face alight with the promise of bloodshed, “Your luck has run out, friend…” Rearing back like a star pitcher in the world series final game, the angel threw the rock that he had kept in his hand, the man fell when the thick sound of rock hitting the body cavity resounded through the still air. Gabriel watched as the man started rolling down the debris pile, watching blood and bits of skin come off each time he hit the rough rocks, and as the man neared the bottom the angel took off after him. Hopping on the rocks like a snow leopard chasing after a mountain goat on the high Himalayas, he met the man at the bottom, stopping him from rolling with momentum away from the rubble with is foot. Groaning with pain and the desire to die, Gabriel watched the man suffer for a few moments before spitting on his soon to be corpse. “Sinners deserve to suffer, but the children of the lord deserve a quick death. This is the only mercy you’ll have for the rest of eternity.” After spitting out those words, Gabriel sneered, lifting his foot up and crushing the man’s head against a piece of building and his shoe.

For a few seconds the angel just stood at the bottom of the urban mountain of ruin, watching the blood seep from the broken skull. To some what he had done to the man at his feet would be senseless murder, but to Gabriel it was mercy. He had done a favor to the world by removing just one vulture from this city, making it easier for the innocent to live for just one more day. He pulled his eyes away from the corpse and turned them towards the black sky, hoping to hear his Father’s voice agreeing with him, comforting him and telling him that what he was doing was still in his favor. But there was no answer, and as much as he knew that he wouldn’t get one, Gabriel’s shoulder’s still sank in disappointment. Letting out a silent sigh the rogue angel turned his back on the heap of rubble, stuck his hands into the pockets of his trench coat and walked away, into one of the many alleyways that cut through the heart of the city. He would never get used to being completely alone, that Gabriel knew, but here wandering through a ruined city he was beginning to love he felt in control of a soul he knew was slowly slipping into the darkness he now wandered through. It was in one of these alley ways, not far from the main square that the angel stopped, grabbed a stray piece of clothing and started wiping off his shoe, sneering and grumbling to himself as he tried to wipe the sticky and clotting blood, brain and skull fragments from the fabric, “I’d kill more of them if they weren’t so messy….”

While most humans fled their homes and took shelter in the underground refugee camps there were those that decided to stay back. And the Castriuta family was just one of those that decided to stay in the remains of their home in hope that God would save them—or the war would end. Lillith of course saw those that remained in their homes foolish. And truth be-told they were. It was either Samael or Lillith that stumbled across a majority of them huddled in a room. Or there were t hose that stayed who, despite the devastation; robbed the poor, rapped unsuspecting victims and killed those that go in their way. It was disgusting. And yet in the mess of all things there was still beauty. In the alley, Lillith sat on the fire escape of the second floor of the condemned building. Her long legs rested over the grate as she leaned across the hand rail and slipped a cigarette between her lips.

“How do you even obtain this?” Lillith asked looking over her shoulder to the woman who lay beside her open window breathing heavily. “I mean… seriously?” And the angel pulled the cigarette from her lips as she held the tiny bag of with an unknown substance in it to her. “If smoking isn’t one way to kill you… you do this?” and Lilith looked at the bag once more before tapping the butt of the cigarette against the hand rail. “Drugs are bad sweetie” Lillith sang as she walked over to the dying human and crouched to her level. She reached over and tucked the bag into her breast pocket before slipping the cigarette between her lips as she stood once more. “You can’t be saved” and Lillith walked to the rail once again… and this time emerald eyes spotted someone familiar—someone who was thought to be gone.

“I got to go” and when Lillith looked to the woman behind her again she smiled. The woman laid there: dead. Her arm outstretched with a needle popping out of it. Lillith would smile once again before the cigarette was tossed and she descended from second floor emergency ladder to the first… and then the ground. The ladder rattled as he fell and when it was inches from the ground it stopped. Lillith jumped off and stood merely five or so feet away from Gabriel.

“I was beginning to think you actually died” Lillith teased as she watched the angel. She looked to his choice of clothing before the blood splatter on his boot and grinned. He was killing humans… this was good. He was one step closer to increasing the fallen ranks. Lillith would walk over to him as if he were an old friend and she licked her lips as she stood beside him, “you’re looking rather lovely” and when her eyes turned she looked the way he had supposedly came. Her mind wandered…. Where? Into his… she picked up his last moments before looking to him once again. “I’ll treat you to some new sunglasses…” and slowly she stepped back, circling him once again, as she walked down the alley. “Coming Gabriel?”

Some Sweet Violent Urge [OPEN] 15

Grumbling to himself about the evils of the human body and how messy they really were, Gabriel was lost in his own confused thoughts. So much so that he didn’t even sense the presence of one of his Fallen brethren when he stopped to clean off his shoe. Ever since he left the ranks of the holy to wander the city and try and collect his lost thoughts, Gabriel had lost his knack at sensing others of his kind. It wasn’t until he was mere feet from them that he was alerted to the presence of someone of equal or greater power, and in these times he knew it was particularly dangerous. Before their Father left them to defend for themselves, he had a reason to keep his mind open to the presence of others, especially Fallen, generally when he ran into a member of the Fallen ranks a bit of blood was spilled. But now a sort of silent truce had descended over the two groups, sure the occasional scuffle happened but it wasn’t any large scale planned attack it was generally just a squabble between two or four at the most. Now when Gabriel found himself face to face with a Fallen words never escalated into blows, instead the Fallen just tried their best to break what little spirit the rogue angel had and turn him to their cause. More than once he had been tempted to accept that offer, such exchanges left him even more conflicted, he generally spent the rest of the day debating on the fact if he hadn’t already Fallen due to his mountain of sins, and this was just his version of Hell.

It was staring at the caked on blood and bits of skull fragment left on his sneaker that one of those thoughts crossed the angel’s mind. He froze, his crystal blue gaze growing heavy with the burden of worry that such thoughts usually brought on him. Just as he was about to drift into one of his many conflicted sessions of self-psychotherapy, the sound of rusted metal scraping against other pieces of rusted metal broke through the alley, it was that sound that alerted him to her. A curt sigh left his lips, out of all the Fallen that lurked in New Jersey she had to be the one to find him. He was just that lucky. He closed his eyes and stood from the crouch he had been in before, once more his movements were fluid and graceful like a cat’s. While some Angels felt clumsy in their human shells Gabriel felt right at home, he had been one of the first to make this form beautiful in movement and now moved with the grace of a lion opposed to the fluidity of a house cat.

When the last sounds of the fire escape dissipated into the air, Gabriel wiped the few stray drops of blood from his hand and tossed the cloth into the dumpster he was standing next to. He turned his face towards her ever so slightly, keeping his face as free of emotion as he could, although with Lilith he knew it was a lost cause. If she wanted to know what you were thinking all she had to do was crawl into your mind like the pest she was. “I was beginning to think you actually died.” A smile spread over his chiseled features, his blue eyes locked on her thin form, “Think and wish are two different things. It’s always a good idea to distinguish before engaging in conversation with intelligent beings. Plus, you know you’d miss me.”

His smile grew and became a sarcastic caricature of a real smile, although out of the corner of his eyes he could see where her gaze was and as he followed it the smile slowly fell as his eyes dropped to his still bloody shoes. It was in that moment that he knew this night was going to be anything but the half-peace he usually had to himself. What worried him the most was that it wasn’t just some Fallen peon that was seeing him at his worst, it was Lilith, Sameal’s bitch, his loyal lap dog that he knew as soon as she left him be was going to run straight to her master’s arms and tell of Gabriel’s weakness. He could refuse offers from the peons, but he was unsure if he was strong enough to keep from falling to Sameal’s will. “Your looking rather lovely..” Her compliment was nothing but venom to Gabriel, sweet, sweet venom that brushed an ego that didn’t need more inflating. He slowly lifted his icy gaze to lock with her own, all humor gone from them, leaving the frustration of having to deal with the fiasco that was undoubtedly about to unfold. “I’ll treat you to new sunglasses…” It was with that sentence that he knew he was in her trap now, and when she circled him once more like an anxious shark smelling blood, that fact was cemented in stone.

For a few moments as she stepped away from him and towards the streets beyond the alley, Gabriel prayed for the strength to resist any thing she would have to offer, except for sunglasses. Even though deep in his heart he knew his prayer fell on deaf ears it consoled a part of him that was still fighting for his Father’s cause. “Coming Gabriel?” Her lilting voice taunted him from down the alley, breaking his blissful ignorance and anchoring back into this existence he called hell. Sticking his hands in the pockets of the black wool of his trench coat, the angel was next to the Fallen within the blink of a human eye. Staring forward he played the part of the spoilt child, “Gotten so bored that you’ve resorted to shopping around for fashion accessories for those that have lost had had their’s broken? Either way I appreciate it but don’t you think it’s a loss of what little talent you have? Shouldn’t you be breeding Nephilim or something? Seems a nobler cause than getting me a new pair of shades…And shoes. Did I mention I need new shoes?”

Even while he spoke he never looked over to Lilith, he focused everywhere but. The rogue angel was slightly unnerved by the second in command’s presence not because of her reputation but because of what it meant for him. It meant that he would be drawing in more attention that he wanted to, and that was what set him on edge. This was the beginning of a dark chapter in this part of his already legendary contribution to history, one he was more than happy to be rid of as soon as possible.

“Coming, Gabriel?” Lillith repeated as she stood at the end of t he alley; her hands pushed deep into the pockets of her boucle plaid trench coat and as her emerald eyes remained entirely focused on Gabriel’s’ shrouded form. He had every right to be wary of Lillith… especially considering where her devotion currently laid: with Samael. Her facial expression changed noticeably when Gabriel took his place beside her and mentioned he needed shoes, along with the pair sunglasses she offered him. “Shoes” repeated Lillith as she looked down to his sneakers and nodded. She than began to walk; hands slipped from her pockets as she remained in step with the rouge angel down 6th. There were a few moments of silence between the two before she turned and looked up at Gabriel as they stood in the middle of a crosswalk. Her shoulders slowly rolled back as her hands slipped into her pockets once again and she stepped closer to Gabriel… the fallen angel smelled like milk and honey—it was very tantalizing! “What’s your shoe size Gabriel?” Lillith asked, “mens’ large?” Lilliths’ lips curled into a teasing smile before she stepped back, rolled her emerald colored eyes and continued down 6th.

Time Square had at one point and time in its life been notorious for its shopping district, and now it was nothing more than a black market for the supernatural’s and angels that now resided in it. “And, ouch” Lillith finally muttered to his earlier comment, “you make it sound like what I do is bad…” the fallen angel stopped at one of the shop windows that had been boarded up, “I breed Nephilim, yes, but my part is very small…” Lillith would slowly pull her hands from her pockets pulled out a pack of cigarettes. “You see…” she explained as she slowly took a cigarette out of the box and then offered it to Gabriel, “I chose who is capable—who is strong enough, I don’t do the impregnating.” If Gabe took a cigarette she would then toss the empty box to the curb before she produced a lighter out of her other pocket, “that’s Samaels’ job…” and a coy smile left her lips as she lit her own cigarette. Lillith turned from him and looked to the boarded up window once again, “and to do all that. You have to look stylish…”

Lillith continued down the block before coming to a building that had a neon flashing sign in the window that read, “Open” and entered. There was doubt in her mind that Gabriel would be right behind her and when he entered he would be surprised to see the shop was nicely decorated. It had formally been a jewelry shop and now was converted to a shop that carried jewelry and among other things… one of those things just happened to be sunglasses.

“And you do know” Lillith began as the cigarette was placed between her lips and her jacket removed, “that Metatron is doing the same” and her jacket was neatly placed on the coat rack before she walked over to the small selection of designer sunglasses the owner possessed. Lillith had been dressed tight, dark leggings that fell just three quarters below the knee, matching black heels and a burgundy top that was an inch or so above her knees and a belt that centered around her waist—showing off her hour glass frame, “don’t make me look like that bad guy Gabriel… I’m buying you sunglasses…”

“What can I get for the lovely lady and gentleman?” asked the supernatural behind the counter. Lillith was currently out of his line of sight and his yellow, snake-like eyes were pinned to Gabriel. “A ring?” he asked, and he motioned Gabriel over. Lillith however remained preoccupied with the sunglasses, and like a child she tried every pair on and looked at herself in the mirror—comparing what she liked to what she didn’t like.

Some Sweet Violent Urge [OPEN] 15

For the few silent moments that Lilith gave him as he was at her side, Gabriel’s eyes focused on the blackened heavens above them. He rarely took the time to just sit and stare at the sky like he had done before all hell broke loose in a city already drenched with sin. Now the sky just represented frustration and hurt, it was one big, expansive empty promise. Somewhere inside the velvet blanket of heaven sat his Father, deaf to his prayers, pleas, his fears. Up there he was blind to the fact that one of his most loyal soldiers was a one thread closer to falling into eternal blackness, and that was why Gabriel didn’t look up at the sky anymore. It reminded him just how alienated he had become, but tonight he saw something different twinkling in the vast blackness. Merciless stars watched the strange pair from their home in the vast void of the night sky, laughing with his sadistic Father at the rocky road ahead for the rogue angel.

While Gabriel’s mind had drifted skyward he had fallen into step beside Lilith, pulled along by the one part of his mind that still lived in the present. From beyond the imagined sound of the stars and his Holy Father joined in a chorus of rather unholy laughter, came Lilith’s velveteen voice, dripping with innuendo and sarcasm a strange parallel that was enough to draw the rest of his mind out of contemplation and back to the real world. “What’s your shoe size Gabriel? Men’s large?” For the first time since they left the alley, Gabriel turned to look at the fallen beside him. Generally when he stood next to most others of his race he had to look up, but here next to Lilith the difference was hard to tell, he was but a hair taller than her, even that was enough to boost his ego. A small smirk spread on his features, “Ah, so the great mystery has been revealed. Sameal has you working in a shoe store, that could only explain your interest in my sunglasses and shoes. You get paid by commission don’t you?”

As she stepped off the curb and back on her path towards sunglasses and damnation, Gabriel lingered in her wake for a few moments after. Frozen eyes roamed over her swaying form, strutting down the abandoned sidewalks as if all the ruin and abandon didn’t exist. She would be a hard one to resist for a few other reasons beside her golden tongue and her connection to Samael. For a few short moments the smile of his face widened, gleaming with something other than sarcasm before dropping to a small smirk as he stepped in line with her just in time for her new speech. Even though it killed him to stay silent he did, and for once really listened to what she had to say, thinking of witty comments with a side or of sarcasm each second. Taking a step behind her to lean against the boarded shop front, the angel couldn’t help but roll his eyes as she continued ranting about the Nephilim, if he would have known she would be so touchy about the subject he wouldn’t have made it such a big part of his sarcastic remark. Would only have been a side note. He stepped forward to grab the cigarette that was offered to him, sensing movement would be in their near future, Gabriel stayed close to the Fallen, lighting the cigarette with his own lighter; a silver heirloom he found on the body of a policeman. “..and to do all that, you have to look stylish.” And with that remark floating with the first drafts of smoke from the vices the two angels now held, the two were on the move once more.

Gabriel let the poison flavorful smoke roll over his tongue before inhaling a vice he had learned to enjoy and was disappointed not to have enough time enjoying now a days. Slowly he exhaled the smoke, letting it waft around his head before finally remarking on Lilith’s windy speech, “Well, at least your side has kept busy.” His words hung in the cooling autumn air with the smoke from both of their cigarettes, he really didn’t have much to say on the subject. From Gabriel’s point of view they had gone from being a necessary part of the war to being nothing more than a form of entertainment for fallen and holy alike. He could only imagine the monotony of this in between time if either side didn’t have their respective breeding camps, the morale would definitely be low. Lilith stopped and entered a store that had only one visible sign of light, the obnoxious red blinking OPEN sign that gave the angel a headache more than draw him into the dump to see it’s wares. But that was enough for Lilith apparently, she opened the door and disappeared inside without even commenting on his remark, which struck him as odd, instead the angel enjoyed the peace.

Gabriel lingered outside, watching the smoke raise steadily into the harsh sky in lazy ringlets. The guarded persona he wore around the Fallen dropped as he laced his prayer for strength into the strands of smoke, silently hoping that this would be the secret he had been trying to figure out for what seemed like forever. What was tobacco but poisoned incense to carry equally bitter prayers to God’s lacking humor? Once more his crystal blue eyes froze as he drew one last draw from the cigarette and tossed it into the quiet street, inhaled the poison and stepped into the den of lions. “And you do know that Metetron is doing the same.” He wasn’t surprised to hear her lilting voice greet him as he entered, what he was surprised to see was the bright and otherwise cheery interior that greeted him. The outside fit the general apocalyptic feeling the city sported, but inside it was as if magic preserved it from before the war began. Either that or this shopkeeper was extremely intimidating or did a lot of business with those that could afford it. “What do you think I am? Ignorant? Don’t forget that I was in that army once…”

There was a touch of anger to his voice, usually there were equal parts mystery and humor wrapped inside a voice that was generally soft in nature, not this time. There was just a hint of the battle hardened warrior that lurked beneath the pretty-boy persona. The moment those words left his mouth regret began to pool in his stomach, he knew that any clever Fallen could use that chink in the armor he usually wore against him, and that was exactly what he didn’t want. Unlike Lilith, Gabriel chose to keep his trench coat on, strolling farther into the store with hands in pockets, wishing he hadn’t finished the cigarette so quickly it would keep him from saying anything more that he would regret. With her, however, all he had to do was think it and she would know, a clever little snake this one was.

He watched her out of the corner of his eyes, he would give anything to have her power here and now so he could climb inside of her mind and…His eyes snapped to the shopkeeper looming next to him, annoyance painted in their icy hues. He turned his back on Lilith and followed the shopkeeper over to what the supernatural promised as his best case for that ’special’ occasion. In the stark white light and bleached palate the store sported Gabriel seemed to sulk in the room like death in a hospital OR, although as the shopkeeper went on and on about the joys of marriage even in these hard times, Gabriel took on the persona of the character the snake-like supernatural wanted him to be. Smiling and overjoyed, the angel nodded when the supernatural turned to him and asked if he liked anything he saw. “Oh I do. They are all lovely, deliciously second hand. But I was planning on making it really special, you know, unique…” Before the shopkeeper could cart him off to another case full of pawned rings and scavenged antiques Gabriel stepped closer to him and whispered, “Her one passion in this life has always been shoes.” The shopkeeper was obviously confused, speechless for once, Gabriel went on, “Men’s shoes especially. Designer leather boots, preferably..” And after a flash of a small fortune in wadded paper money, the shopkeeper finally scurried off.

Gabriel straightened and walked over towards the sunglasses table, picking up a pair and trying them on and than stepping next to Lilith to gaze in the mirror, “You may not be the bad guy now, Lilith, but you can’t be here just out of the kindness of your soul. You never had one.” He picked up a different pair and tried those on, “What do you really want?”

PostSubject: Re: Some Sweet Violent Urge [OPEN]   Some Sweet Violent Urge [OPEN] I_icon_minitimeThu Dec 16, 2010 6:21 pm

"Marriage?" Lillith muttered looking at Gabriel and the owner of the shop as she slid on another pair of designer sunglasses. The angel would then look at her reflection and pucker her lips as she admired herself for a moment or so before grinning and solely removing them. Her emerald eyes returned to the pair and she smiled. It was a delicate smile... one that rarely came to the woman nowadays. She found it funny that the shop keeper would even believe that Lillith, of all the angels in New York and New Jersey would ever be marriage material, let alone Gabriel himself... He must have not had a good look at either of them when they walked in. It was quite obvious that he was oblivious to who he was really talking to... Lillith slowly removed the sunglasses and stepped around the table to have a better connection with what was being said between the two. However, that connection was broken the moment the shop keeper took Gabriel into one of the back rooms.

Lillith would turn her attention to the small table of accessories and put on a third pair of lavender shaded sunglasses; a purple scarf was nested to be dressed on her person before she began to play with her hair.... she was still intrigued by even the littlest sensations that the human body was able to endure and the memories that littlest of touches could  bring. The scarf around her neck was made of some type of silk and it did bring back memories of the games that Samuael and her often engaged in. It made her smile. She caressed her own cheek, tilted her head and slowly glanced over her shoulder to where Gabriel had disappeared. When the door opened, Lillith pushed the sunglasses up, to set her bangs back and that all too familiar neutral stare was set across her features.

"Marriage is a big step... don'tcha think?" she asked; "I know so much about you...and you know so little about me..." and a soft, mocking laugh left her lips as she lifted the ends of the scarf up and brushed them across her cheeks, "I'm flattered... Really..." and the woman would wink as the ends of the scarf fell against her chest and the shop keeper approached them both with a large box. Lillith stared at the shop keeper. He didn't even bother to look at her as he had Gabriel turn from his
supposed fiancé and look inside the box. Lilliths lips puckered and the Enders sunglasses were pulled down as she walked around and slowly stepped behind Gabriel. Her arms wrapped around him and she slipped her hands into his front pockets... and her head on his shoulder.

"Whatcha got there baby?" she asked and playfully her lips were caress the side of his neck... she even went as far as
kissing his neck. "Hm?" and those lovely, stunning emerald eyes shined under lavender shades and her hands slipped from Gabriels' pockets as she then played with the button on his pants. The shop keeper would look to Lillith for a short moment before he closed the box. Gabriel had seen the shoes... and Lillith only managed a small glance.
