Character History
They say God plucked a ray of light from the sun, cupped it in his hands and blew life into it. From that ray of light, Raphael was born. God bestowed upon the new angel the gifts of healing, knowledge and science. As a child of the Sun, Raphael brought joy where ever he went, literally brightening everyone's day. Over the centuries he enjoyed walking amongst humans, disguised as a handsome young fellow with dark hair and a strong chin. More than once has his true identity nearly been revealed at his own fault. Raphael simply cannot resist helping someone or something. He has descended from the Heavens so often that images in his likeness began cropping up amongst the humans. They spoke of a "super-man" who, with the brush of his delicate fingers, could cure any disease. His heart is soft and his intentions always true.

So when war waged in the Heavens, Raphael chose the side he knew would bring peace once again. He is now Lieutenant to Commander Metatron and prays that his brothers, the so called Fallen Angels, will come to realize that this violent existence is not their destiny.
