Colonel Bogey [Closed Rp] Test-1

~`~ Colonel Bogey ~`~

Colonel Bogey [Closed Rp] Carnival_by_Liiszx3

Colonel Bogey, from Circus Calyope could be heard among what were the remains of Coney Island—with lights that had managed to remain intact over the years gave the abandon Theme Park and eerie feeling. Upon entering the theme park an individual would notice that various rides were moving about on their own. The oversized Ferris-Wheel, which was at the entrance of the park, turned slowly; creaking as the ungreased gears collided… the sound of a roller coaster, gliding across the tracks could be heard in the distance—a low hum could also be heard from the bumper cars… the cars themselves were covered in a thick layer of dust; cobwebs hung between the steering wheel and seats… they almost seemed immobile. But neither of those seemed to be the source of the music… it was when an individual stepped further into the theme park that they would spot a carousel.

Colonel Bogey [Closed Rp] Infrared-Digital-Photography-Carousel-Horses

It was obvious that this was the source of the music— paint was beginning to chip on various sculptures; very few of the sculptures were the same the day the theme park was abandon… it was combination of a lack of maintenance and the war that caused pieces of the carousel to decay; leaving several of the mirrors shattered or cracked... this was no longer a childs’ playland.

The gears would squeak as they turned the carousel in a clockwise manner… and not even an arms’ length from the childish ride laid a body—which was charred beyond identification. The smell was revolting and beside the body were the remains of what appeared to either be an oil or gas canister…

As the carousel came round Lillith could be seen on one of the horses, grinning. She sat much like a proper lady would: legs crossed and bent at the knee; one of her hands grasped the pole that jutted from the horses’ back and eyes laid on the corpse as she passed it—her hand would be removed from the pole as she plucked a chunk of cotton candy from the bag, which she held in her other hand, and ate it. There was no genuine purpose… she couldn’t taste it and it wouldn’t fill her. But that didn’t stop her from trying it…

Coney Island was an enchanting place. Timeless, like Raphael. Carnival games, centuries old, still appeared ready for the next contestants to win a superb prize. Tones of grays and browns surrounded him, making his angelic skin illuminate the dreariness of abandonment that encompassed this area. This unearthly glow made it quite apparent that he wasn't human, although he tried very hard to fit in.He donned a weathered black felt cowboy hat, a blue plaid button up shirt, with the sleeves rolled up, tucked into denim jeans with a large silver buckle with a curious insignia.

Colonel Bogey [Closed Rp] Sigil_raphael

But he walked among Man nonetheless. They fascinated him to no end and even though humanity evolved through the same cycles over and over again, he was never bored of them.

Raphael now explored the remains of a great source of entertainment, the amusement park. He touched every surface he passed, absorbing the happy memories of children laughing while playing skee-ball with their friends, a charming young man winning a stuffed animal prize for his lover, the smell of hot dogs, cotton candy... His delicate fingers left an indention in the layers of dust, the surface glowing warmly for a moment before fading back to the sad gray. Raphael ventured from the carnival games and found himself in front of the ancient ferris wheel. Its tarnished spokes reached for the Heavens, taking each car closer to God with each slow turn.

He walked away from the creaking ferris wheel, his footsteps so light they seemed to merely glide across the ground. Curious music attracted him to the direction of the carousel. The valiant animals that crowded the elaborate contraption showed various degrees of emotion, frozen in poses of urgency, indifference, calm, or determination. Raphael made his way around the carousel, slowly turning in the opposite direction he was moving, touching each animal as he went as if thanking them for bringing joy to who ever had the delight of riding them.

For a moment he smelled the strangely strong scent of spun sugar but it was quickly overpowered by a more unpleasant aroma. Death had been here. The body lay only a few feet before him. The brightness in Raphael's eyes dimmed as his compassion for the lost soul washed over his own eternal soul. The carousel continued to rotate slowly beside him, bringing back the smell of cotton candy, accompanied by a darker aura. Darker than that of death. A bringer of death. The angel's attention snapped to the figure sitting gracefully on a valiant steed as she came around.

Colonel Bogey [Closed Rp] Test-1

Lillith was well aware of Raphael’s presence the moment he stepped into the theme park—there would always been a small connection between the fallen and those under Gods’ grace... Once the angel was spotted she lifted her delicate frame from the back of the valiant steed and to the platform. As if on cue the lights on the carousel flickered before they went out; the carousel slowed down… and the lights in the theme park began to follow—flickering before they shut off; sending the theme park into a ghostly silence.

Lillith, however, remained beside the steed as another piece was drawn from the bag of cotton candy, “Hey there Cowboy” and the carousel stopped, causing gears to squeal under the sudden pressure... this left her in front of the angel. “You missed a great party” was added before eating the piece of cotton candy. Lillith would offer him the bag before she stepped down from the carousel. Whether or not he took the bag it would have been removed from her possession. She didn't want it. And, like a shadow, she would walk over to the corpse before glancing back at him. The fallen angel wore a grey belted jacket; with a white scarf, dark skinny jeans and black boots—all very stylish... very modern.

“I haven’t seen you in a while Raphael” Lillith taunted while prying the lighter from the corpses’ hand—“he needed Superman, you know...” and her emerald eyes were lifted to him once more; her words had no other purpose then to verbally attack Raphael... and she did it in such a gentle manner. It wasn't until she was standing that the lighter was tossed to him.

“But you know how it is… right?” –if Raphael was anything like she remembered then by touching the lighter her would see what had happened to its’ owner:

”That wasn’t so bad…” Richie whispered to himself as he began to make his way through the abandon theme park. It wasn’t until he passed the roller coaster that everything suddenly came to life. Richie’s heart skipped a beat as he rounded the corner and saw the carousel. It wasn’t moving. The music didn’t brighten his mood either. It made him more nervous... his grip tightened around the gas can as he took a step forward—

“Isn’t it past your bedtime?”

Richie jumped—nearly dropping the can and looked to the source: Lillith. “I-I…” he began stuttering. Lillith had no response. She stepped off the moving carousel grinning at the fair haired human. “I’m just leaving” Richie said and he began to step back… but Lillith stepped forward and this caused the man to freeze… and her grin widened.

Richie took two steps closer to Lillith. “I… I don’t want to die” he whispered as he was confronted by her.

“If there is a God…” Lillith whispered, “Than he’ll save you…” and she would reach over to him and pull the bag of cotton candy from his breast pocket. Richie watched her as she stepped back to the carousel. The music grew louder and when he hand grasped the pole it began to move... slowly at first—he didn’t even realize he had unscrewed the cap of the gas tank and lifted it above his head. Richie dowsed himself in the gasoline. And Lillith positioned herself on the valiant steed; watching as Richie removed his lighter from his pocket after he dropped the gas tank.

“Please” he begged… he was beginning cry—

Beg for your God to spare your Life… Lillith was in his head; and Richie began to pray. He began to beg for his life—for Superman—anybody; that was willing to save him. That could save him. Richie stared at the lighter as he lifted the flame to himself. His body ignited in flames—he screamed… and the music continued.

The carousel slowed to a stop bringing Raphael face to face with Lillith. They stood merely a few feet away from each other, the burned body a barrier between them. Raphael could feel the evil dripping off of every word she said and it broke his heart. He so desperately wanted to reach out to his former sister, take her hand and bring her back, but he knew this was impossible. The Fallen had made their choice and only they could decide if Heaven would be their home once more. He tipped his hat to her in greeting. "Howdy, darlin'. It has been quite some time since our paths have crossed. You look as if you're doing mighty fine." His dark sparkling eyes followed Lillith closely as she circled behind him. As much love and respect he had for her as a being, he knew she possessed the darkest of motives. He would never leave his guard down in the presence of his fallen brethren.

She mentioned the nickname he accidentally earned during his brief visits to Earth, trying to toy with his emotions for her own sick pleasure. Any other angel would not be affected by her word games in the slightest but Raphael's heart was open much wider than most. He embraced the emotions his brothers only learned about in order to truly understand God's children. Raphael was born from the Sun, destined to bring happiness to those around him. How could accomplish such a task without fully understand what it meant to be happy?

Their eyes met for a moment, her cold green stare trying to pierce his warm brown gaze, before he caught the charred lighter in the palm of his hand. It seemed like such a small and insignificant object, burned and melted beyond recognition, yet it held a thousand memories. Raphael cupped his other hand over the lighter, his palms now glowing as the history of the boy's lighter flashed across his mind.

Scenes of the boy with his friends, lighting up cigarettes and joints, sitting under the bleachers during class, contemplating life's mysteries; with his family lighting birthday candles or fireworks; starting a fire with sticks and bits of paper to keep warm or cook food; and the last few moments watching the striker create the spark that would envelope him, finally putting him to rest. Raphael drew in a sharp breath as he relived the boy's last few seconds of life on Earth before he was crudely snuffed out, like the flame on a lighter.

He opened his hands again, the warm glow fading away, and held the lighter out in front of him. "He mind cried out in fear, askin' the typical questions one would ask oneself on the brink of Death." Raphael tossed the lighter back to Lillith, he wasn't the kind to keep souvenirs. Shoving his hands into his pockets he gazed up into the night sky. "He feared for his family's survival, what Death would feel like. And then..." He turned his head towards Lillith, the brim of his hat hiding most of his face in shadow but his compassionate eyes still shone through as bright as the stars in the night sky. "His heart told him he could let go because now his soul is in the hands of our Lord. He was finally freed of this Earth and the havoc we've wrecked on these poor souls." Raphael couldn't help but chuckle to himself. Humans were amazing creatures and never ceased to amaze him. "Ain't that somethin'?"

Lillith caught the lighter and stared at the design that was inscribed on the front of it. She dropped it next to the corpse and her shoulders rolled back as her eyes went back to the angel. “Not really” was her sarcastic reply, “his death only proves that God doesn’t care…” Lillith walked over to Raphael once more. He was so much taller than her—but she didn’t seem to mind her point of view. “If God cared about his children… he would save them—” and slowly she would circle the angel; much similar to a lion stalking its’ prey. “God doesn’t care Raphael” Lillith told him knowingly. “Why do you think he sent you?” It wasn’t until she stood in front of him once more that she reached up and lifted the brim of the hat up and then removed the hat all together. “Such big brown eyes you have” Lillith teased as she placed the hat on herself. Her belted grey jacket was then removed and hung on the railing behind Raphael. Her scarf would then follow before it was tucked into the left pocket.

“Well Raphael?” Lillith repeated while glancing over her shoulder. Under that grey jacket she wore a white three quarter sleeve shirt that barely covered her mid-drift; and when she looked at him her hands fell into her back pockets as she then mirrored one of Raphaels’ delicate smiles. “God doesn’t care Raphael” Lillith insisted and she would slowly approach him once more— her fingers toyed with his collar as she spoke. “And he left you behind…” and her words seemed to soften… just for him; out of pity. Eventually those delicate fingers would pat either side of his cheeks as she sighed; “you’re cut off from the Heavens Raphael. Just… like… me…” and that was when the woman turned. She would walk away from him and under the arch that led further into the park. “Walk with me, Raphael…”

And if the angel followed; her hands fell from her back pocket and they swayed back and forth as they walked. “Think about it” Lillith said looking up at him, “Why else would he leave you behind? Have you truly done anything for humanity? Has he truly told you how to save humanity?” and her arms outstretched to the destruction that lay in their path.
“Their world is now Ours.”

It didn’t take long for the twos’ long strides to leave them in front the hall of mirrors. Several of the letters had fallen from the wall and mirrors that had been posted outside the hall were either shattered or cracked. “And you’re just like me… Like Samael…” and the brim of the hat up while she chewed on her bottom lip. “Don’t think we don’t know Raphael” the fallen angel teased pointing at him; “breeding Nephilim…” and a mocking ‘tsk tsk’ left her lips as she stepped back and entered the condemned hall.

As she lifted the hat from his head the little light shining around them lit up his pale, flawless face, his brown eyes illuminated even more. Raphael ran his hand through his thick brown hair, shaking his head as Lillith spun her tale of abandonment with silvery, sinister words. He let her speak her piece. Demons sure do like to hear themselves talk don't they, he thought to himself. She circled around him, trying to cut into his pure soul with doubt, sorrow, pity and other negative emotions. He watched her carefully, his sharp eyes never letting her out of his sight, but his overall facial expression remained soft, calm, and caring.

She had led the pair to a decrepit hall of mirrors, each more shattered and broken than the last. His human-like face reflected a thousand times in all the pieces, like how a fly would see the world. Raphael casually turned his full attention back to Lillith, listening to her apparent accusations of the angel's conscience. To him, she was merely expressing her own fears and doubts of her purpose in this life, or lack there of. It was now his turn to pity her.

"Oh darlin' what are you afraid of? The feelin's you're tryin' to invoke in me are what's tearin' up your own heart. I have no doubt Our Lord has a plan, in spite of his apparent absence. I still have faith and that's all I need."

He swiftly walked up to her and placed his strong hands upon her slender shoulders, peering into her eyes, reaching into her soul. His bright soul sensed her own dark spirit, filled with evil, suffering, contempt and greed. The very virtues that fueled his own spirit were twisted and broken in her body. He held back the urge to hold her tightly in his arms, to free her from the dark prison of her own soul. Raphael knew better than to try to force goodwill on The Fallen. They would either violently retaliate and he would have a fight on his hands or retreat further into the safety of the darkness. Those who were to be saved by God had to come freely and willingly. As powerful as Raphael may have been, he was no match for a blackened heart such as Lillith's. He pulled his hands away and let them fall to his sides, her icy skin still warm from his touch.

She stepped away from him, further and further into the gloomy fun house that smelled of mold due to disuse. "breeding Nephilim..." she whispered, pointing an accusing finger. "Now hold on a moment," he interjected, "the privilege we bestow upon these good people can in no way be compared to the filthy business you and Samael have created." Being reminded of The Fallen's leader, Samael's, slave operation, infuriated Raphael. His eyes narrowed slightly, betraying this harsh emotion, but his face remained relaxed. The Angels were helpless to save those who were crudely ripped from their homes to be raped and bred like lowly animals. Samael's operation was smartly conducted deep within Perdition, where no Angel could enter.

He stood at the entrance watching her wander further and further into the shadows.

[I recommend you do not read this while drinking something xD... because it made me laugh when I was rereading it xD... enjoy]
It wasn’t until Raphael touched Lillith that her dark eyes showed a faded light—and that little light that sparkled in the distant darkness of her eyes was what was left of her former self. Lillith blinked… and then watched the other angel closely before her eyes finally closed and his warm touched left her cold shoulders. It was interesting to her—and to Samael; the sensations humans felt. Anything that happened to alter the skin n the slightest affected them. And yet despite Raphaels’ efforts to persuade her she only focused on one thing—his thoughts. His words were mildly ignored and while he spoke she was able to pick up on the emotional attachments he had to his God, to the people and himself. He was like her: emotionally conscientious to those and that around her. She was able, thanks to her telepathy; see the world through his eyes. And in those eyes he was foolish. He did not understand that God had left him and he was not coming back. God became bored… no he became disappointed with the human race and thus thought it was best to leave and despite his absence the angels believed he was returning and he would reunite with those created in his image. Lillith would laugh… and even as it left her lips it held a sense of elegance all on its own. She then turned from him… smiling as he went on to explain himself about his own breeding operations and slowly the fallen turned and leaned against a column that was now a barrier between them.

“Oh… Raphael” she sighed, “you’re delusional” and when the woman pushed herself away from the column the hat was removed and tossed to the ground—it was a matter of seconds before the hat hit the ground that Lillith was in front of Raphael stroking his jaw line—her warm breath brushed gently across his lips as she leaned up—speaking to him. And her voice was almost seductive as she began to trace small circled along the side of his face. “You’re playing God…” and a gentle kiss was set on his lips before she pulled back and walked around him. Her fingers trailed around his midsection and slowly she slipped behind him; her head barely past his shoulders was set on his shoulder and slowly her arms laced around him… hugging him gently. “God wouldn’t approve” was whispered in his ear.

“But do tell me… how are you… bestowing this Gift upon them?” And her hands moved slowly toward his belt. She knew Raphael was a listener and he would listen and speak his mind. Like her… “Hmm….?” a playful grin left her lips as her hands toyed with his belt. Her fingers would run playfully across the design on his belt buckle—but despite his angelic nature he was still considerably human with this form and as such he would react like any other human would due to Liliths’ delicate… playful nature. “There’s only one way to impregnate a human woman….” And that was when playful hands slipped below the belt and into his pants… bad Lillith. Bad.
